“阿娇”来了：国产ARJ21飞机正式入编
ARJ21（Advanced Regional Jet for 21st Century）即“21世纪新一代支线喷气机”，是中国按照国际标准研制的具有自主知识产权的飞机，主要用于满足从中心城市向周边中小城市辐射型航线的使用要求。
ARJ21 (Advanced Regional Jet for 21st Century), a new generation of regional jet in the 21st century, has been developed by China in accordance with international standards with independent intellectual property rights. It is mainly to meet the requirements of radial routes from central cities to surrounding small and medium-sized cities.
ARJ21客机于2002年4月经国家批准立项，2008年11月28日在上海成功首飞，自2016年6月28日投入航线运营以来，已在中国华北、东北、西南等地区先后开通55条航线，通航55座城市，安全运送旅客89万余人次。
ARJ21 was approved by the state in April 2002 and successfully flew in Shanghai on November 28, 2008. Since it was put into operation on June 28, 2016, it has opened 55 routes in North China, Northeast China, Southwest China and other regions, opening 55 routes to 55 cities and safely transporting more than 890,000 passengers.
相比C919中型客机，ARJ21客机身材更“娇小”，全长33.46米，翼展27.29米，全机高8.44米，机身大致相当于三辆公交车的总长，三层居民楼高。可爱的外形，被网友们昵称为“阿娇”。
Compared with the C919 medium-sized airliner, ARJ21 is more ‘petite’, with a total length of 33.46 meters, a wingspan of 27.29 meters, and an overall height of 8.44 meters. The fuselage is roughly equivalent to the total length of three buses and the height of a three-storey residential building. That’s how it earned the monicker ‘The Petite’.
外形娇小，“性格”却很强劲。两台发动机布置在机尾两侧，发动机虽小，但动力十足且降低了飞行中的噪音，使旅客在乘坐时更为舒适，而且飞行平稳，安全可靠。
It’s small in appearance, but strong in character. The two engines are arranged on both sides of the tail. Although the engine is small, the engine is full of power and reduces the noise in flight, which makes passengers feel more comfortable, stable and safe.
ARJ21项目团队历经十余年的艰辛探索和自主创新，攻克了各类技术难关，填补了我国航空工业多项空白，使中国商业航线上正式有了自主研制的喷气客机。最近，三架崭新涂装的新支线客机ARJ21-700型飞机分别交付给国内三大航空公司，标志着中国自主研发喷气运输类飞机进入主流民航市场。
After more than ten years of hard exploration and independent innovation, the ARJ21 project team has overcome various technical difficulties, filled a number of gaps in China's aviation industry, and officially developed a jetliner on China's commercial routes. Recently, three newly painted regional airliners, ARJ21-700, were delivered to the three major domestic airlines, marking the entry of China's independent research and development jet transport aircraft into the mainstream civil aviation market.
ARJ21飞机入编后，对推动支线飞机运营，探索适合中国国情的干线支线相结合的航空发展模式，构建更加通达顺畅的航空运输网络有着积极作用。随着越来越多的ARJ21飞机投入市场，将助推中国民航大众化战略，不断满足民众日益增长的出行需求。
After the ARJ21 aircraft is incorporated, it will play a positive role in promoting regional aircraft operation, exploring the aviation development mode of combining trunk and branch lines suitable for China's national conditions, and building a more accessible and smooth air transport network. As more and more ARJ21 aircrafts are put into the market, it will boost the popularization strategy of civil aviation of China and continuously meet the increasing travel demand of people.
