中国是“礼仪之邦”，同时拥有众多精湛技艺，二者结合，成为了中国向世界递出的“外交名片”——国礼。
China is a “land of etiquette” and has many exquisite skills. The combination of the two has become China's signature item in diplomatic exchanges to the world -- the state gift.
首先来看出自“皇家工艺”的国礼重器——景泰蓝。1952年，中国首次承办国际性会议——“亚洲及太平洋区域和平会议”，景泰蓝台灯就是国礼之一，被郭沫若誉为“新中国第一份国礼”。
First, let's take a look at the cloisonne, which is a national ceremonial gift of the royal craft. In 1952, China hosted its first international conference, the Asia and Pacific Ocean Peace Conference, cloisonne lamp was one of the state gifts, which was hailed by famous Chinese writer Guo Moruo as “the first state gift of new China.”
2014年11月，2014年APEC峰会在北京举行，“四海升平”景泰蓝赏瓶被选为国礼。赏瓶最大直径21厘米，代表21个经济体，体现着不同文明兼容并蓄、共同进步。
In November 2014, the APEC Summit was held in Beijing. A cloisonne vase, with a design message of global peace, was selected as the state gift. The vase, with a maximum diameter of 21 centimeters, represents 21 economies, reflecting the inclusiveness and common progress of different civilizations.
2015年9月，联合国成立70周年，中国赠送了一件巨型景泰蓝“和平尊”。传递了中国求和平、谋发展、促合作、图共赢的愿望和信念。
In September 2015, to mark the 70th anniversary of the founding of the United Nations, China gifted a giant cloisonne ceremonial vessel in the name of “Peace.” It conveys the country's hope and belief in seeking peace, development, cooperation and win-win results.
而在1995年，庆贺联合国五十华诞时，中国赠送的是青铜器“世纪宝鼎”， 象征着团结、统一，同样是代表和平、昌盛的吉祥物。
In 1995, when celebrating the 50th birthday of the United Nations, China presented a bronze ware named “the treasure cauldron of the century” as a gift, which symbolized unity and was also an auspicious symbol of peace and prosperity.

China is the homeland of porcelain, which was introduced to Europe through the ancient Silk Road.
