With fertile fields stretching for thousands of miles and harboring rich agricultural resources, magnificent paintings of plentiful harvests have unraveled across tracts of Shandong province's countryside.
德州：亩产“吨半”为乡村振兴筑基
Dezhou: Laying the Cornerstone for Rural Revitalization of High Crop Yields
2021年，山东德州提出，要创建大面积“吨半粮”田。“吨半粮”也就是指一亩地年产量超过1500公斤。
In 2021, Dezhou, Shandong, proposed the ambitious initiative of creating vast dunbanliang fields, meaning an annual yield of over 1500 kilograms per mu (equivalent to 667 square meters).
段希林是德州市临邑县翟家镇的种粮大户，也是当地有名的“粮王”。2022年，他的650亩粮田喜获丰收，尤其是其中的100亩示范田，刷新了德州市粮食单产记录。
Duan Xilin is a prominent grain producer in Zhaijia Town, Linyi County, Dezhou. He is locally dubbed the "Grain King." In 2022, his 650 muof farmland enjoyed a bountiful harvest, particularly the 100 mu designated as a demonstration field, setting a record for single-crop grain production in the city.
临邑县秋华土地托管专业合作社理事长段希林：“去年获得‘粮王’以后，对这个种地也有压力，但是也是动力。”
Duan Xilin, chairman of the Qiuhua land trust professional cooperative of Linyi County: "After gaining the title of the top grain producer last year, I felt more obliged and encouraged to improve farming productivity."
2022年，德州120万亩核心区平均亩产1490.1公斤，其中61.8万亩地块平均亩产达1576.3公斤，实现“吨半粮”目标。最高亩产达1870.4公斤，创历史记录，“吨半粮”示范区创建首年告捷。
In 2022, Dezhou's core fields produced an average of 1490.1 kilograms per mu across 1.2 million mu, among which 618,000 mu achieved an average yield of 1576.3 kilograms per mu, hitting the dunbanliang target. The highest yield reached an unprecedented 1870.4 kilograms per mu. The first year of the dunbanliang demonstration project was a resounding success.
菏泽：人才“活水”为乡村振兴赋能
Heze: Empowering Rural Revitalization through Talent Mobility
人才走入乡村，成了实实在在的致富带头人。如今，山东已构建起涵盖农业科技、生产经营、乡村治理、公共服务等领域的人才矩阵，全省农村实用人才总量稳定在270万人以上。
The influx of talent into rural areas has become a tangible driver for prosperity. Shandong has established a talent matrix covering domains such as agricultural technology, production and operations, rural governance, and public services, with a total of over 2.7 million practical professionals across the province's rural areas.
姚桂元是洪庙农民绘画专业合作社的创始人，2009年他成立了这个以农民绘画为专业的合作社。农民画师们“农忙时下地，农闲时画画”。
Yao Guiyuan is the founder of the Hongmiao Farmers' Painting Cooperative in Hongmiao Village, Heze. In 2009, he established this cooperative specializing in farmers' paintings. The farmer artists "toil the fields during busy seasons and paint during idle times".
国家一级美术师、山东省农民书画研究会副会长姚桂元：“凡是来一个人，我都有决心，一定让他学会学好，给他找到出路。”
Yao Guiyuan, a national first-class artist and vice president of the Shandong farmers' painting and calligraphy research association: "Whoever comes to learn painting or calligraphy,I have the determination to let him master the skills and make a living."
2022年，巨野全县农民画师共创作了绘画作品120余万幅，作品更是远销美国、法国、新加坡等40个国家和地区，产值超过10亿元。
In 2022, the farmer painters in Juye County collectively produced over 1.2 million paintings, with their works being exported to 40 countries and regions including the United States, France, and Singapore, generating over 1 billion RMB in revenue.
临沂：生态文旅为乡村振兴铺路
Linyi: Paving the Way for Rural Revitalization with Ecological Tourism
近年来，临沂在推动文旅融合等方面创新突破，将当地特色旅游与绿色生态深度融合。
In recent years, Linyi has made innovative breakthroughs in integrating culture and tourism, fusing distinctive elements of local tourism with green ecology.
如今，“景区村中建，村在景区中”的临沂市沂水县四门洞村，正得益于生态文旅特色发展。借势成为5A级景区的萤火虫水洞，大力发展民宿、农家乐、蝴蝶-萤火虫繁育基地、非遗研发传承中心，让230余名村民不出村就能就业。
Today, Simendong Village in Yishui County, Linyi, where "villages and scenic spots blend into one", is benefiting from the development of ecological tourism with the 5A-rated Firefly Water Cave at the centerpiece. This set-up promotes homestays, rural tourism, butterfly-firefly breeding bases, and ICH (intangible cultural heritage) research centers, creating employment for over 230 villagers right at their doorstep.
而在沂南县常山庄村，依托当地特色旅游优势，成立影视基地群众演员服务中心，村民们摇身一变当上了群演、导游，不仅腰包鼓起来，还吸引外地游客来这里旅游，让这里成为了“山村中的好莱坞”。
Changshanzhuang Village in Yinan County has leveraged its defining tourist flair to its advantage, turning itself into a service center for extra actors. Village residents have taken on gigs as extras and tour guides, padding their bank accounts and attracting tourists from other regions. This has made the village a "Hollywood in the mountains".
潍坊：特色蔬菜产业为乡村振兴提质
Weifang: Elevating Rural Revitalization with a Specialized Vegetable Industry
作为农业农村发展“优等生” 和“中国一号菜园子”的潍坊，聚力建设全国蔬菜产业综合服务基地。
As an exemplar of agricultural and rural development, Weifang, accoladed as the "China's No. 1 Vegetable Garden"is committed to building a comprehensive service base for the China's vegetable industry.
近年来，潍坊寿光市自主研发蔬菜品种 178 个，种苗年繁育能力18亿株，占全省的近四分之一，年产值突破10亿元，成为全国最大的蔬菜种苗繁育基地。在外贸方面，潍坊700余家外贸企业的农产品已出口至130多个国家和地区，尤其对“一带一路”共建国家出口增幅明显。
In recent years, Shouguang in Weifang independently developed 178 vegetable varieties with a seedling breeding capacity of 1.8 billion per year, accounting for nearly a quarter of Shandong province's capacity. The annual output value has exceeded 1 billion RMB, making it the largest vegetable seed breeding base in China. In addition, over 700 foreign trade enterprises in Weifang have exported agricultural products to more than 130 countries and regions, with significant growth in exports to the BRI partner countries.
2020年，山东农业总产值突破一万亿元，成为全国首个农业总产值过万亿元的省份。
