鱼肉为食，鱼皮做衣，他们才是真正的捕鱼达人，被称为“鱼皮部落”。

Having fish meat for food and fish skin for clothing, they're the real fishing masters known as the “fish skin tribe.”

他们就是——赫哲族。这个民族生活在中国东北地区，现今大概有5000多人，是中国人数最少的少数民族之一。

Hezhe ethnic group. This ethnic group live in northeast China. With a population of over 5,000 people, it's one of the smallest ethnic minority groups in China.

其实都不是，而是源于生活环境所限。

赫哲族游猎的先人就地取材，用勤劳与智慧，创造了人类的生存艺术。

The nomadic ancestors of Hezhe people made full use of local materials.With hard work and wisdom,they created a unique means for survival.

鱼皮衣上身是啥感觉？

What does it feel like to wear fish skin?

冬暖夏凉、轻薄柔软还防水。

It's warm in winter and cool in summer, light, soft and waterproof.

做一件鱼皮衣大概要用几十条大马哈鱼。

It takes dozens of salmon to make a fish skin coat.

赫哲人从选鱼到利用自己独特的手法，将一张张脆弱的鱼皮制作成结实的衣服，大概需要一两个月。

They have their own unique techniques from selecting the right fish to turning them into clothes.Turning fragile fish skins into firm clothes takes about a month or two.

如今，鱼皮衣不再是赫哲族的日常所需，但衍生而来的鱼皮画和各类鱼皮手工艺品，吸引了世界各地的游客。

Nowadays, fish skin clothing is no longer a daily necessity of Hezhe people, but their fish skin paintings and various fish skin handicrafts are attracting tourists worldwide.

“鱼”与“渔”，是人与自然的共生。鱼皮制作技艺作为非遗，走向下一个千年。

Fish and fishing is a balanced existence between man and nature. As an intangible cultural heritage, fish skin crafting is embracing the next millennium.
